At JR Aesthetics we offer a range of advanced anti wrinkle treatments using Allergan Botox and dermal filler treatments using Juvederm and Teoxane. We also offer Skin boosting hydrating treatments such as Profhilo and skin re-densification treatments with Teosyal Redensity 1.

Anti-Wrinkle Injections

Anti-wrinkle treatments are made from Botulinum toxin type A.
As we age, there are many contributing factors that lead to the development of wrinkles, such as reduction in our skin elasticity, muscle tone and years of moving our facial muscles. This can appear particularly prominent in areas of the upper face.
Anti-wrinkle treatments work by temporarily inhibiting the transmission of nerve impulses, preventing muscle contraction. This smoothes out lines and wrinkles, resulting in a more youthful appearance. Anti-wrinkle treatments are often sought to help prevent permanent lines occurring as well as soften existing lines and inhibit the lines from becoming deeper. This treatment is suitable for many parts of the face with the most popular areas being the forehead, frown lines, and crows feet (lines around the eyes).

Dermal Fillers

Dermal filler treatments employ a gel-like substance containing hyaluronic acid, which is injected into the skin to help recreate volume which has been lost due to the natural ageing process. This cosmetically restores and enhances facial features while maintaining a natural look.
As we age, we naturally lose tissue volume under our skin due to a drop in the production of collagen, the breakdown of fat pads and the diminishing of our bone structure. In addition, the decreasing natural production of hyaluronic acid in our bodies leads to a reduction in the ability for our tissues to retain water, resulting in a loss of hydration in the skin.
Dermal fillers are a great solution for plumping out and softening deep lines and indents in areas such as the nasolabial folds and marionettes lines.


Profhilo

Profhilo is a pure hyaluronic acid moisturising treatment for the skin. Profhilo is carefully injected into specific areas of the skin intradermally, targeting the formation of new dermal cells in the tissue by stimulating the gradual release of four different types of collagen and elastin.
Profhilo can notably improve skin texture, allowing a tightening and lifting effect, and is known to promote moisture at the surface of the skin, resulting in the skin looking and feeling hydrated and refreshed. For optimum results, two treatments four weeks apart is recommended.
